Insight JVA Client Downloads: Installation & Logon Instructions
The Java Client has been designed for the researcher
and those desiring advanced software functionality, including enhanced
zooming and panning capabilities, export of images to Powerpoint, etc. In order to view the
collection using the JVA Client, special software must be downloaded.
Downloading the software (32Mb) using a broadband connection will take 2 to 3 minutes.
Windows Download
Apple Mac OSX 10.2+ Download
Installation Instructions:
- Win98/2000/NT/XP/Vista: At the file download prompt, choose
"save this program to disk" and then to your Desktop. After the download,
double click the Insight icon, and click through the install process.
When you are done, Insight will be available under your Start
Menu/Programs/Luna Imaging/Insight 5.1. Start Insight by selecting it.
- Apple Mac OSX 10.2+: At the file download prompt,
choose save file and then to your Desktop. After download completes, double-click the
Insight Installer icon on your desktop, and click Continue. Drag the Insight Installer
icon onto your hard drive. When the Insight installation is complete, click Quit.
Double-click the Luna Insight JVA icon on your desktop to launch Insight JVA.
Logon Instructions for Windows users:
- 1) After installation, go to Start/Programs/Luna Imaging/Insight 5.1
- 2) Enter the Username: edinburgh and Password: edn
- 3) Select a collection by clicking once on the collection name, and then click the select button
Logon Instructions for Apple Mac users:
- 1) After installation, double click on the Insight icon that appears on the desktop after installation.
- 2) Enter the Username: edinburgh and Password: edn
- 3) Select a collection by clicking once on the collection name, and then click the select button.
